Trend Micro Mobile Backup & Restore automatically stores an online copy of the important files on your device. It also helps switching from old device to a new one quick and easy.
With Trend Micro Mobile Backup & Restore, you never need to manage individual files or make sure your backup is up to date.
By default, Trend Micro Mobile Backup & Restore only performs automatic back ups when the device is plugged in and connected to Wi-Fi. If you choose to manually back up your device by tapping the Back Up Now button, the app will warn you first if your device isn't plugged in and/or connected to Wi-Fi.

Sure. You can install the app on as many Android smartphones and tablets as you like using the same Trend Micro account. However, you need to have enough online storage to back up each device.
For now, Trend Micro Mobile Backup & Restore is only available on Android devices.
To see how much space is available, just tap on the More tab, which displays both total space and space still available.
Additional storage is available through a monthly subscription. To see what options are available in your region, or make a purchase, tap the Get More Storage button on the More tab.
If you tapped Get More Storage and you couldn't purchase a subscription, that's because Google doesn't yet offer app subscriptions in your region.
Your files are backed up through an encrypted connection. The online copies are stored securely, so nobody else ot even Trend Micro an access your data.
If you have used less than your total free storage, then nothing will change.
If you have used more than the total free storage, then backup copies of your photos, music and videos will be deleted after a 2-month grace period to bring the total backup size to less than the free storage amount.
To avoid losing anything, you can just back up your device using less than the free storage during the grace period. If you do not get around to doing that before the end of the grace period, then you will have to delete your existing backups before creating a new one.
Setting a schedule for backups could end up draining your battery at the wrong time or triggering additional network bandwidth fees. To avoid these risks, by default the app automatically backs up your files only if:
